Our company KIDKA is one of the biggest wool factorys in Iceland and its name stands for beautiful and high-quality wool products, which are fashionable, comfortable and genuine Icelandic.

You can find our products in shops all over Iceland. Our factory is situated in the beautiful Miðfjörður area, in the small town Hvammstangi, halfway between Reykjavík and Akureyri, just 5 min from the main Road 1. Our forty year-old tradition in producing knitted wool goods has made us an important employer in this region.

KIDKA sweaters, cardigans and accessories are knitted by knitting machines. The process of washing, brushing and steaming the wool gives it a softer and fluffier texture than one is used from the hand-knitted pullovers, but at the same time doesn’t lack the important feature of keeping its owner warm all year-round.
