Geysissvæðið samstendur af glæsilegum veitingarstöðum, hóteli, útivista- og minjagripaverslun, veitingarsölu og tjaldsvæði.

Golfvöllur er við hlið hótelsins, góðar gönguleiðir, útivistarpardís í Haukadalsskógi, veiði, riferrafting, riverjet og stutt í ferðir á Langjökul sem og hálendisferðir. Þar af leiðandi er Geysissvæðið tilvalið til ferðalaga þar sem stutt er í fjölda möguleika afþreyingar á svæðinu.

Hótel Geysir er með 77 herbergi, þar af svítur en herbergin eru 30-100 m2. Einnig verða þar fundasalir, veislusalur og veitingastaður. Gert er ráð fyrir einstakri heilsulind sem sækir innblástur í náttúru og nærumhverfi.

Á hótelinu eru fjórtání smáhýsum Geysir Cottages og 22 herbergi á Litla Geysir íeinni byggingu sem er hentugt fyrir hópa. Herbergin eru öll í göngufæri við veitingahús, verslun og þjónustu. Það er nauðsynlegt að gefa sér tíma til afslöppunar og til þess að hlaða líkama og sál orku frá náttúrunni í fallegu umhverfi.

The Geysir-Center, which is directly opposite the geothermal area of Geysir and Strokkur, consists of a whole building complex with elegant restaurant, hotel, spa with hot spring hot tub and sauna, souvenir shop, snack shop.

Near site is also horse rental and camping area.

Hotel Rooms

Scheduled to be opened in 2018 with 77 rooms, including 6 suites.

The new building connects the existing services in the area and is designed with the aim to reflect nature through the choice of materials blending into the nearest surroundings.

At the new hotel there will be conference rooms, reception area and a restaurant. The new hotel also features a unique spa inspired by nature and the surrounding elements.

The hotel has 14 double studio rooms in Geysir Cottages beside the river and 22 rooms in Litli Geysir, one wing with view over the hot spring area. The rooms are in walking distance from restaurants, shop, museum and just two minutes from the thermal fields.

The confirmed number of guests 72 hours before booking at restaurants in Geysir is the number that will be charged for. Hotel groups bookings - namelist 3 months before arrival and room bookings 48 hours before arrival will be the rooms we charged for.

All in all, this has to be the perfect framework for rest, relaxation, and getting charged up for the next activity.

Access for disabled people is available both in hotel rooms, restaurants and toilets.

At Hotel Geysir you can see the northern lights without light interference. Nothing compares to lying in the geothermal pool looking at the sky with dancing northern lights, it’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Geysir is an excellent place for those who want to explore the northern lights in addition being next door to the geothermal area. It is amazing to be standing with hotsprings all around you and the northern light above you.
