You may have noticed that most hotels in Reykjavik claim that their venue is a deluxe hotel in the heart of Reykjavik, in midtown or in the center of town. This is absolutely true except that there really isn´t any one city center!
Some of these hotels are built in the traditional hotel manner, with a lobby lined with marble floors and linings, shining chandeliers and spa facilities in the basement. These are all very fine; that is if you are looking for that sort of thing.
Hotel Óðinsvé is not like that at all. Our hotel is small with only 50 rooms, including 8 comfortable suites. We do not concentrate on material things or on Scandinavian design. We leave that to IKEA!
Our efforts are first and foremost based on good service and a smile. We want our customers to feel at home, feel like they are staying with friends. Therefore, Hotel Óðinsvé offers a relaxed atmosphere where our friends are offered an impeccable service with emphasis on comfort and personal attention.
Within the hotel you will find SNAPS, a restaurant that has lately become the most popular meeting place in Reykjavík. SNAPS offer a mixture of French bistro atmosphere and outstanding Icelandic culinary menu.

All our rooms have hard wood floors, comfortable beds and high quality duvets and pillows, from Kronborg of Denmark. The rooms include shower, minibar, complimentary coffee and tea, free wireless internet connection, satellite TV, radio, telephone, hair dryer and other small things to make life easier. Continental breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7:00 to 10:00 every morning.
We have a 24 hour lobby service and we can assist you with planning your vacation in Iceland. Whether you are looking for day trips, renting cars, Blue Lagoon, or booking a restaurant.

Check-in time is from 14:00 and check-out time is at 12:00.
Hotel Odinsve is conveniently located in the heart of Reykjavik, less than a 5 minutes walk from the city centre and Laugavegur, the main shopping street. It is also within walking distance from all major restaurants, bars, cafés, clubs, public transportation, museums, embassies and other activities.

Transportation from airport
The distance from Leifur Eiriksson Air Terminal at Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik is 45 kilometres. There are two companies that offer fly-bus service daily in connection with all arriving flights. Their sales offices are located at the airport and tickets can be purchased directly from them. Just inform the driver that your destination is Hotel Odinsve and you will be driven with all other passengers to Reykjavik Airport. Once there, a smaller version of the fly-bus will take you straight to Hotel Odinsve.

A taxi service and rental cars are also available at Leifur Eiriksson Air Terminal.

OUR GROUP OF NEW BEST FRIENDS
We have just discovered a new way of serving our regular customers – that is the guests who stay with us at least three times a year, or even more often. These are the friends who always stay in their favorite room and love it. We like to call them Our Best Friends! The best friends need no identification, a card or a letter. They can only join the group by invitation. The members are given a direct line, a telephone number to call or text when they want to stay in their favorite room. We can have our driver meet them at the airport and provide them with the little things that you only do for your best friends.
