During my professional career as a ceramic artist I have participated in a large number of exhibitions in Iceland, the Nordic countries, France, Canada, the United States, Japan and South Korea. I have held fourteen separate one man exhibitions in several countries, both in galleries and museums.

When does a bowl become a sculpture or a sculpture become a vase?

My work is deeply rooted in ceramic tradition, but I am tempted to test the boundaries of the ties with that tradition, to feel the tension that emerges when the boundaries become unclear
